October 10-11, 2026 (In Person) -  MONOLIXSUITE ACoP 2026 SATELLITE WORKSHOPS A two-day, hands-on workshop covering the complete population PK-PD modeling and simulation workflow in MonolixSuite: from dataset exploration to clinical trial simulation. You'll build both software fluency and the scientific judgment to work critically in the age of AI, including an introduction to MonolixSuite's AI-assisted modeling tools.   From PK-PD Models to Simulations using MonolixSuiteTM :  Modeling in the Age of AI ACoP 2026 Satellite Workshop     Dates: Oct 10th-11th (Saturday and Sunday), 8AM - 5 PM  Venue: Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland Course description AI agents can already handle parts of the modeling workflow that once took hours by hand: writing Mlxtran code, running PK workflows, generating diagnostics. That shift makes one skill more valuable than ever — the scientific judgment to know whether the output is right. This two-day workshop is built around that idea. You will work through a complete population PK-PD modeling and simulation workflow in MonolixSuite, combining lectures and hands-on exercises to build both fluency with the software and the deeper understanding that lets you work critically, whether you are using the interface yourself or supervising an AI agent. Part 1: Modeling We cover the full modeling workflow. You will explore a dataset, build structural and statistical models, run a covariate search, and develop a PK-PD model. Alongside the practical work, we make time for concepts often skipped: what the estimation algorithms are actually doing, and how to read diagnostic plots with real understanding. Part 2: Simulations We start with the question and then the practical skills to build simulations: which types of simulation you can run, which sources of uncertainty to include and why, and how to analyse the results, including testing differences statistically rather than by eye. Part 3: AI Agents We open the black box: what a large language model (LLM) is, how to build an agent, and how prompting, context and tool access shape what an AI system produces. From there we look at what makes a good modeling agent, how to actually do modeling with one, and where your judgement and review stay essential. This workshop does not start from zero. You should be able to run a basic PK workflow in Monolix: load a dataset, set up a model, run an estimation. If you are not there yet, we offer a free preparatory course covering the essentials so you arrive ready to benefit fully from both days.  Includes a temporary license for the MonolixSuite.   Pricing   Early bird before Sept 1 Standard Industry $775 $995 Student 50% off $387.50 $497.50 Prices are per person and VAT-exempt; VAT will be added where applicable. Payment Payment is by credit card. If you can't pay by card, email education@simulations-plus.com to request an invoice and pay by direct wire transfer. Location This is an IN-PERSON WORKSHOP taking place in Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, National Harbour, Maryland as a satellite event of the ACoP2026 Conference.  Read more

July 8th - 10th, 2026 (virtual) - This workshop introduces participants to the GastroPlus® API and demonstrates how it can be used to streamline both basic and advanced modeling workflows. Through practical, hands-on examples, attendees will learn how to automate routine tasks, customize reports, manage in silico experimentation workflows, and leverage advanced API capabilities to improve efficiency, reproducibility, and scalability in PBBM-PBPK modeling projects. GastroPlus® Summer School: Practical API Skills for Basic and Advanced Modeling  Better, Faster, Stronger: Accelerating PBBM-PBPK Workflows with the GastroPlus® Application Programming Interface (API) Free Online Training | July 8 - 10, 2026 Choose 8:00AM - 10:00AM Pacific or 9:00AM - 11:00AM Central European Why This Training Matters The PBPK Summer School is designed for modelers who want to learn how to extend and accelerate their PBBM–PBPK workflows using the GastroPlus® application programming interface (API) in R. Across three intensive sessions, participants will learn how to integrate observed data into a GastroPlus project, generate automated reports, run multiple virtual populations simultaneously, and execute high-throughput PBPK studies. Previous knowledge of R is not mandatory.  More than a software tutorial, this course provides the framework, practical skills, and mindset needed to support advanced modeling applications and inform regulatory decision-making. You'll discover not only how to use the novel GastroPlus® API, but also why its functions must be executed in a specific order to support your PBBM-PBPK modeling workflow. With hands-on exercises, live expert guidance, and a free temporary GastroPlus® license, you'll be able to experiment directly on your own projects and bring back immediately usable workflows to your team. How You Will Learn Live, online lecture led by GPX™ experts each day Learn directly from the people who develop and use the tools at the highest level, gaining not just instructions but insight into best practices, strategies, and real-world applications. Two identical 2-hour sessions per day - choose the time zone that fits you - and video recordings Ensure you can participate live, ask questions, and learn at your best time without missing content or interaction. Interactive Q&A chat during each session with GPX™ experts Get immediate answers to your modeling challenges and clarify concepts as you learn, turning lectures into active problem-solving sessions. Hands-on exercises to reinforce new skills Apply what you've just learned in a guided environment, moving from theory to practice and cementing your ability to replicate these workflows later. Comprehensive materials: presentations, datasets, and GPX™ projects Build your own reference library to revisit concepts, test workflows on your own time, and accelerate mastery after the course Certificate of Attendance Demonstrate your training in advanced PBPK and GPX™ to colleagues, supervisors, or regulatory bodies. Free temporary license for GPX™  Use the same tools you're learning on your own projects, experiment with advanced features, and get immediate help from experts during the course - turning learning into direct project impact. Skills and Insights You'll Gain Session 1: Introduction to the GastroPlus® API Session 2: Predicting and Reporting Midazolam Pharmacokinetic Changes in Pediatric Populations Using the GastroPlus® API Session 3: High-Throughput PBPK Simulations Using the GastroPlus® API Read more
